What’s up, SeoulGrid! Since we stopped publishing our club guides, we’ve received a startling number of emails requesting that we bring them back. (It’s heart-warming, really, to find out you’re loved). So starting next week, we’re doing exactly that. Stay tuned!
In the mean time… As most of you already know, this Saturday (Oct 9th) is Global Gathering (see our previous update). There’s really no valid excuse to miss it, but if you can’t spring for the ticket, then here’s an alternative: some of my friends are throwing a party at Club Answer, and we’ve worked out a deal for free entry for SeoulGrid readers. Global Gathering 2010 in Seoul, Korea: Photos and Review

Global Gathering is part of an international music festival. Last year in Seoul we got Royskopp and Prodigy, and it was an amazing experience. This year is shaping to be even better.

What’s up, SeoulGrid? This weekend brings us another massive rock festival for those who couldn’t make it last week. Jisan Valley Rock Festival offers three days and three stages of music featuring some big name artists, and is one of the largest music festivals in Seoul. What’s up, SeoulGrid? This week, another Top 100 DJ is coming to Seoul. Additionally, I was pleasantly shocked to see one of my all-time favorite underground DJs is making an appearance at one of Seoul’s top clubs as well.

What’s up, SeoulGrid? James here, back with another weekend of clubby goodness. To start us off, this Friday is Club Day in Hongdae, where you can bounce between 21 different clubs for the price of one. Then on Saturday, we’ll all no doubt be out to support Korea as they play Uruguay in the top-16 of the World Cup, and afterwards there will be a great line-up of interesting DJs as well.
