One of the venues sporting the nicest gallery-type interior.
Dear Chocolate is a chocolatier with a kicking interior. Apparently they won three designer awards for interior decor. Really looks like you are walking in a trendy gallery.
Some pictures and a very brief review after the jump.
Does the food measure up to its standards though? Their mushroom salad is pretty decent, as well as their king crab ravioli.
The service is a little slow but the price range is not all that bad relative to Cheongdam-dong prices. Other foods are normal, not spectacularly fantastic nor atrocious.
I bought their chocolate cake the other day and I keep going back to the place for cakes. Their chocolate cakes are rich and thick, much better in my opinion than wanna-be chocolate cakes that sit around in Paris Baguette stores every other block.
[UPDATE] Apparently, Dear Chocolate no longer serves food. I still recommend their hot chocolate, which is probably the thickest you will find in Seoul.
DIRECTIONS: Cross the street from the old Galleria building (the one on the right). Walk towards designer club (south) and make a first left (right before a vet building). Dear chocolate is on your left.
