What’s up, SeoulGrid? James here, with another fun-filled action-packed club update. This week marks the end of finals for a good number of universities in Seoul, and the World Cup is just heating up, so expect another weekend of reckless good times. Friday, June 18th:
2009-debuted Jamaican sensation Major Lazer is coming to Korea, but they won’t be playing at a megaclub. This show is at the concert-hall Ax-Korea in Gwangnaru, and also features a line-up of Korean electro DJs, including Risque Rhythm Machine and Starsheeps. I don’t know much else about the show or the venue, just calling it to the attention of those who are fans of Major Lazer.

With Defected Records, vocalist Rae is coming to Answer. Ironically, Rae is the one who recorded the vocals for Sandy Rivera’s “I can’t stop” — the track whose remix I linked to above. Here’s another one from Rae and Sandy Rivera:
