What’s up, SeoulGrid? This weekend brings us another massive rock festival for those who couldn’t make it last week. Jisan Valley Rock Festival offers three days and three stages of music featuring some big name artists, and is one of the largest music festivals in Seoul. For a list of artists as well as a summary of what else is going on this weekend, keep reading after the jump.
Jisan Valley Rock Festival 2010:
Friday, July 30th – Sunday, August 1st
Some big names this year are Muse, Massive Attack, Vampire Weekend, Pet Shop Boys, and Third Eye Blind, among others. Click here for a full list of groups and which days they’re playing on:

And here’s what else is going on this weekend:
Friday, July 30th:
At Mansion in Hongdae, bassist Chris Baio from Vampire Weekend will be performing his DJ set while he’s here for the Jisan Valley Rock Festival.
For more information on the show, check out the FaceBook group for the event.
And the rest of Seoul’s megaclubs:
Saturday, July 31st:
On Saturday, M.A.N.D.Y. is coming to Eden. Perhaps you’re familiar with them from their collaboration with Booka Shade, “Body Language.”
Really nice track — chill minimal. Apparently these guys put on a good show, so check it out if you like their style.
It’s the last Saturday of the month, so Daishi Dance is coming to Heaven. I’ll go ahead and post this track again, since it kicks major ass (if a chilled, laid-back song can be considered ass-kicking):
If you haven’t seen Daishi yet, this is a great option. If you have seen Daishi, well then you don’t need my recommendation.
And lastly, Club Volume.
No Club Answer this week. Someone tell them to announce their parties sooner ;)
Cheers,
James
